爸爸先是挖了个大坑，弟弟又去找了点柴火。爸爸去拿了打火机，先是把柴火放到那里面，又把火燃烧起来。我感觉很温暖，爸爸已经生起火来了。我跑过去，感觉更温暖然，拿起几个红薯就放到那里。我也想帮助爸爸去找点柴火，爸爸让我去找木棍和甘草，我就去找了柴火和甘草，然后给爸爸一些木棍。第1个木棍掰的时候，很细很软爸爸说这根儿不行，太软了，我用拿起第2根，爸爸说这个也不行，太硬太粗了，我掰不动，我用拿起第3根这次应该可以了，一掰果然可以了，又拿起了甘草放进火里火燃烧的更大了。
