开场的男主是阿拉丁，他是一个小偷，女主是一个公主。电影开始是阿拉丁在偷东西，然后他和公主偶遇了，两人一见钟情。但是在他们的国家里，公主只能嫁给王子。后来宰相看到了阿拉丁，让他进入了有神灯的一个洞，把神灯帮忙拿出来。洞里面只有神灯能拿出来，其他的都不拿。虽然阿拉丁成功的拿到了神灯，但是阿拉丁的小猴阿布和魔毯拿了其他的金银财宝，所以他们出不去了。他们的魔毯想办法带他们出去，魔毯被石头砸中了。阿拉丁和阿布就跳到了一块石头上，落到了一块安全的地方。宰相看着阿拉丁说，你把神灯给我，我就拉你上来。阿拉丁把神灯给了他，但宰相并没有拉他上来。阿布这时神速反应把神灯抢了回来。宰相无奈只好自己先走了，魔毯这时挣脱了石头，满分/接住了阿拉丁和阿布。就这样，阿拉丁打开了神灯，神灯先来了段儿自我介绍，只见神灯里边儿出现了一个精灵，这个精灵可以满足三个愿望。阿拉丁许了一个愿望：从洞里出去。第二个愿望是：变成王子，他真的变成了王子。他兴奋的手舞足蹈，但是他被宰相识破了。宰相偷偷的把阿拉灯丁的神灯偷走了。他许愿成为最强大的巫师，宰相把国王和公主都囚禁起来，想成为这个国王这个王国里最厉害的人。这个时候，阿拉丁变成了一个平凡的人，他为了救公主和国王和阿布一起与宰相斗争。终于阿拉丁用自己的聪明才智把宰相战败了。他把宰相变成了一个精灵放进了神灯里，扔在了一个遥远的地方。这个时候，公主和阿拉丁幸福的在一起啦。
