从前有一座山，山上有一座寺庙，庙里有两个和尚，一老一小。

有一天晚上……“师父，我要听故事！”小和尚瞬移到老和尚面前。“死家伙，经全都读完了吗？”“读完啦！”“好吧，开始了，听好了……从前有座山，山上有座庙，庙里有个老和尚，他在讲，从前有座山……”小和尚突然打断：“师父，讲过了，讲个别的吧。”“好，从前有座山，山上有座庙，庙里有一个老和尚和一个小和尚，小和尚缠着老和尚讲故事，老和尚讲，从前有座山……”“师父，我去睡了。”小和尚说完了以后，跑回房间，心想：我必须让师父给我讲新故事！”
The following day before dawn is controlled 2:30, small bonze pushs a door gently, ground of to walk gingerly takes entrance of old monk room, light putt opens the door, affirm Laohe still slept, and without mechanism trap, pushed the door, ground of to walk gingerly went in, bend over in side of old monk side, light tone says: “ avalokitesvara says you want to tell new story to small bonze, avalokitesvara says you want to tell new story to small bonze, avalokitesvara says you want to tell ……” of new old practice to tell before dawn to control ability to answer a room to sleep 4:30 to small bonze.
第二天凌晨两点半左右，小和尚轻轻推开房门，蹑手蹑脚地走到老和尚房间门口，轻轻打开门，确认老和尚睡了，且没有机关陷阱，便推开了门，蹑手蹑脚地走了进去，趴在老和尚耳边，轻声说：“观音说你要给小和尚讲新故事，观音说你要给小和尚讲新故事，观音说你要给小和尚讲新故事……”讲到凌晨四点半左右才回房睡觉。
That day in the morning at 10 o'clock, old monk calls him, say: “ is prentice, do you know? 当天早上十点钟，老和尚把他叫起来，说：“徒弟，你知道吗？昨天晚上观音菩萨说我要讲新故事给你听……”小和尚兴高采烈的（地）想：成功了！老和尚接着说：“我开始讲了……从前有座山，山上有座庙，庙里有一个老和尚和一个小和尚，小和尚缠着老和尚讲故事，老和尚不想讲，凌晨两点半左右，他到老和尚那里催眠他，催了两个小时才回去，早上，老和尚讲，从前有座山，山上有座庙……”“呃，师父，我念经去了，有啥事等我念完再说吧。”然后，小和尚拿着书念经去了。
