但是好景不长，这样的一个科学研究工艺生产的地方，却给了一只头上长着一簇白毛的乌鸦给破坏了。他觉得自己非常高贵，独来独往，老瞧不起人家，小鸟们可不认得他，以为他是白头翁，就尊敬地称他一声白头翁老先生。他生气了。说，“你们眼瞎吗？我还是一个年轻小伙，怎么会是白头翁？”这一说，小鸟们都开始议论纷纷，叽叽喳喳争论个不停。都不知道他是什么名字。这时有一个乌鸦说，“既然他长得不像乌鸦也不像鸟。那咱们就叫他鸦鸦乌吧。”鸦鸦乌刚来这里，他没有家，所以他就跟着麻雀一起去找。首先，他们先去找喜鹊。喜鹊的窝是树脂做的，鸦鸦乌怕冷，所以就不住喜鹊的房子。没有住的地方，鸦鸦乌就和麻雀来到了松鼠的家里。就想把松鼠的房子给租了，松鼠带着鸦鸦乌一起去哥哥的房子里，但是不巧的是，哥哥很瘦小，他的房子鸦鸦乌根本进不去。所以，鸦鸦乌打算不租松鼠的房子了。由于他找不到房子，整天就在树上喊家呀家呀，希望得到同情和帮助，无论碰到谁，总是喊家呀家呀，这时，鸦鸦乌从棕树上飞下来，他看见了田鼠，就说您住的房子有空房间吗？田鼠听到之后说，“有，有，我隔壁还有一间大房子。”可是当鸦鸦乌看见田鼠的房子时，鸦鸦乌又嫌弃这个房子泥土味太重，光线太暗，并不想要。一直到最后，鸦鸦乌也没有找到家，旁边的麻雀说它活该，从此园林里再也没有听见家呀家呀的声音了，因为它已经离开了这片园林。
