每天晚上，我都要练习40次仰卧起坐和40次深蹲。每当我练仰卧起坐练得腰酸背痛，想放弃时，就想起了爸爸说过的话：不管做什么事，都要持之以恒，机会永远是留给有准备的人的。于是，我便咬紧牙关坚持了下来。每当练习深蹲练得腿特别酸时，我总在心里不停地为自己加油，顿时又觉得浑身充满力量，只剩5次了，4次了，3次、2次、1次，终于完成了。每天放学后，我还经常到沙池实地练习。一天又一天过去了，我发现自己每天都在进步，别提有多开心了！

60米比赛开始了，我们班的参赛者奋力向前，但还是有人被那刺耳的枪声吓到了。不过运动员们一个个都信心满满，像鼓足了气的皮球似的，不甘落后。跳远比赛终于开始了，看着参赛的同学一个个跳得那么远，我不禁紧张起来，担心自己没能跳出好成绩。轮到我跳了，我两脚左右开立，与肩膀一样宽，手臂前后摆动，半蹲着。一、二、三，跳！当老师公布成绩时，我又惊又喜，我居然跳了1。68米，这可是我有史以来最好的成绩。每个同学都有三次机会，最终，我以1。68米的成绩获得了年级组的第三名，取得了我们一家盼望已久的第一张校运会奖状。
